Due to continued steady growth, we are on the lookout for an experienced and enthusiastic Customer Service and Dispatch Assistant. The role is interesting and varied, supporting team members both in the office and in the field.
Role Responsibilities
- Answering inbound phone calls and emails
- Converting calls to jobs and booking in accordingly using our job software (ServiceM8)
- Scheduling new jobs in a timely manner. The schedule is a living, moving machine that is regularly changing and needs to be monitored and adjusted constantly throughout the day
- Making outbound calls to new and existing customers
- Managing and actioning inbound emails promptly and regularly
- Qualifying enquiries, and sending Quotations and Invoices to clients
- And yes, some sundry administration duties and clerical things too!

You will be professional, proactive, have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. We are a business built on teamwork and inclusivity, so working in a team environment and supporting your team mates is a requirement across all roles in our business, regardless of whether you are field or office based.
You should be self-motivated and enjoy the challenges of a fast-paced, and always customer-focused environment, with:-
- Ability to demonstrate a high level of communication and Customer Service skills to develop and maintain professional relationships with customers and staff
- Competent and calm, often managing many items in the air at the one time and liaising with tradies and customers to achieve the best outcomes for all
- Good computer skills (ServicemM8 would be an advantage but is not necessary)
- Excellent scheduling skills for daily jobs for tradies – including reviewing and managing of a “live” schedule
- Mature in your approach to Customer Service delivery
- Great multi tasking skills and be reactive to actioning tasks
- Experience in a dispatch function or be willing to learn
