NewDirection Care is a multi-award-winning organisation and the world’s first Micro Town, this small-scale living residential aged care community has been in operation since 2017 and is based in Bellmere, 45mins North of Brisbane CBD.
Our community consists of 17 independent domestic-style houses, with just 7 residents per house, and a fully functioning community precinct that includes a cinema, wellness spa and gym, music room, cafe and much more.
About the role
We currently have an opportunity for a part-time Customer Service Coordinator to join our dynamic reception team. The Customer Service Coordinator is the face of the company and is the first point of contact for all Visitors, Contractors, and Staff whilst providing administrative support to the team. This position is suited to an outgoing, welcoming, friendly person who interacts well with the elderly
The days and hours required for this position are 9:00 am to 5:00 pm from Sunday to Thursday.
Responsibilities
- Providing excellent Customer Service and promoting a positive public image for NewDirection Care
- First point of contract for external visitors and internal staff via phone, email and in person
- Manage day to day enquiries, concerns or requests from residents and their families
- General administration duties inclusive of data entry, setting appointments and sending reports
- Assist with ad hoc projects as requested
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate about delivering person centred care
- Excellent Verbal and written communication skills
- A warm and welcoming manner
- Ability to work in a fast pace and adaptable environment
- Meet and demonstrate our values of Individuality, Community, Relationships, Respect and Empathy
- Strong PC literacy skills including Microsoft office
- Administration/ Reception experience preferred
- Aged Care experience preferred
