CUSTOMER SERVICE OFFICER
ABOUT US:
RBD Building & Maintenance Pty Ltd is a leading specialist in Insurance Repairs and has been for over 30 years. Our high performance Bunbury Office is seeking an energetic, friendly, and motivated Customer Service star with the ability to excel in quality service.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Answer incoming telephone calls, determine the purpose of the call and forward to appropriate personnel.
- Arrange and make appointments for inspections and repairs.
- Enter data for new insurance claims and update existing records
- Take and deliver messages via e-mail
- Liaise with Customers and Insurers, establishing processes for repair options to houses.
- Liaise with our supervisors, trades and suppliers to schedule repairs
- Resolve customer issues and inquiries as required
ABOUT THE JOB:
- Part Time 9am to 2pm Monday to Friday
- On-site free parking
- Immediate start
- Training provided
REQUIREMENTS:
- Proficient in MS Office Suite
- Experience in the building and/or insurance industry preferred.
- Excellent telephone manner, and written and verbal communication skills
- Successful candidate must be an Australian citizen or an Australian Permanent Resident.
- Empathy and resilience in assisting members in difficult situations
- Proven ability to build productive relationships with stakeholders and drive valued outcomes
- Strong task planning and time management with competent decision-making skills
