About the role
As part of the Customer Service Officer team, you will be the face of Parks Victoria, greeting visitors and responding to public enquiries. Your daily responsibilities will include answering incoming calls, emails, social media and chatbot enquiries, assisting customers with their queries and creating further interest in Parks Victoria by informing customers of other information and services. You will also be responsible for updating databases with contact and enquiry information, processing accommodation, camping, and hiking bookings for parks throughout Victoria, and assessing, preparing, and processing events, filming, or short-term permit requests. Your role also involves providing personalised Customer Service, ensuring enquiries are satisfactorily resolved, and conflicts are sensitively resolved, as part of a high-performance customer-focused team. You may also assist with the delivery of content for Parks Victoria's social media, promotional campaigns, and issues management, following suitable training.
We're looking for someone with:
- Experience in the provision of quality Customer Service.
- Knowledge of the Victorian parks estate is desirable
- Demonstrated working knowledge of booking systems, CRM software and customer databases is highly desirable
