As a Customer Service Officer in our Hobart NDIS team, you will be employed for 20 hours per week to provide NDIS participants, and key stakeholders (including parents and carers) with basic information about the NDIS services available through WISE Employment. You will also provide administrative support to the Team Leader.

- Keep up-to-date with developments in the NDIS industry including relevant funding contracts/contractual requirements, relevant legislation and WISE policies and procedures
- Contribute to the effectiveness of the WISE Employment NDIS programs by offering ideas for improvement
- Demonstrated ability in a Customer service focused role
- Strong communication, interpersonal and computer literacy skills with the ability to problem solve in a constructive and collaborative way
- Organisational, prioritisation and time management skills
- A sound understanding of disability and demonstrated ability to engage with people with a disability. Including an understanding of impacts of living with disability in social relationships, independent living, daily needs, physical health, vocational and employment needs of these clients
- High attention to detail, to work independently as well as in a team environment
- Full Australian working rights, ability to satisfy national police check and Working with Vulnerable People check requirements
- Desirable to have an Australian Driver’s License and demonstrated experience working with people with a disability either in a professional environment or through life experience.
