About the Opportunity
We have an exciting opportunity to join Metcash as a Customer Service Officer (Permanent Part-Time). The role is to provide both administrative & sales support to the Australian Liquor Marketers Canberra operation, with a focus on invoicing, receipting, claims, and complaint resolution and effective communication with customers to achieve resolution of all issues. The working days will be Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday (from 8:00 am to 4 pm). You will also be required to cover other team members when they go on annual leave and be able flex to a 5-day working week. (Monday to Friday from 8:00am to 4 pm).
In this Role
Process Credits/Claims, receipting of all stock including Under Bond and SAP processing.
Proactively managing individual claims, returns, from notification to closure within required timeframe, working closely with the warehouse supervisor and the customer.
Develop knowledge of warehouse processes, logistics and regional constraints and retail processes to provide detailed information to customers.
100% accuracy required in data entry, covering orders (email, fax & phone), claims (email, fax & phone), customer records and administration.
Receipt of all stock including under bond products accurately following the correct procedure in accordance with Tax and Customs compliance.
Input invoices into SAP for processing by accounts by supplier.
Consult with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute supplier and customer deals.
Assist in warehouse operations by managing, deal sheets, ullages, and stock adjustments.
Consult with warehouse supervisors to improve Customer Service to communicate issues with deliveries, shorts & mispacks and customer complaints.
Operational support to ALM BDM’s and Warehouse manager/supervisors.
You are Likely a Match If
3+ years’ experience in an administrative role.
Liquor industry experience required but not essential.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Skilled in administrative tasks such as filing, report distribution, debt collection related activities.
Experience with SAP to intermediate level.
Experience in MS Excel to intermediate level.
Strong organisational/time management skills.
Ability to work a flexible span of hours commencing 8.00am to 4.00pm Monday to Friday.
