About the opportunity:
Our Customer Service Officer role focuses on providing comprehensive internal sales and high-level Customer Service support to internal and external customers for the PGH Bricks & Pavers products across Victoria.
We are seeking Customer Service professionals that thrive in a busy environment whilst having the capability to succeed within a dynamic role, be a team player and work well under pressure.
This position will be full time, Monday – Friday, 8am-4:30pm plus the opportunity to work from home 2 days per week.
Some of your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Answer and respond to inbound phone calls regarding resolving customer issues, delivery times, quotes, general/first level technical product information, samples, and other general enquiries.
- Maintain internal email mailbox.
- Process quotes and orders into SAP, processing payments and ensuring details are correct and accurate.
- Interaction with external customers, builders, inventory, transport, and sales team.
- Support broader team with other business processes.
- Seek to respond and resolve customer complaints and issues in an appropriate and timely manner.
- Previous experience within a Customer Service position/similar role
- Ability & experience working in a busy role
- Strong ability to problem solve & diagnose issues (with customers)
- Process orientated and is driven to deliver exceptional Customer Service
- High attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present both internally and to external customers
- Good knowledge of IT – Outlook/Excel
- SAP experience – not essential
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent time management (multi-tasking skills, prioritising).
