About the Role
We are looking for Emergency Response Operators/Contact Centre Operators to join our Salisbury (Brisbane) team.
This role will be responsible for contacting customers when their medical help button is pressed. You will need to ascertain whether assistance is required, liaise with the Ambulance service and notify family members. Candidates must be able to:
- Work in a fast paced call centre style role which requires a calm manner, attention to detail and a professional attitude.
- Have strong communication skills and computer literacy.
- Multitask across a high level of prioritized medical alarm events and inbound calls.
- Liaise with emergency services and a diverse range of clients.
- Work a rotating roster which includes weekends and public holidays.
This is an award based role (Clerical Private Sector Award) with multiple rosters to suit operational needs and personal preferences. Shifts mainly include 8 and 10 hour days and depending on the roster could be a combination either day or evening shifts.
About You
- Strong Customer Service background, ideally in a contact centre environment.
- Experience with call centre and/or inbound outbound phone calls.
- Experience with shift work (preferred but not mandatory).
- Australian or New Zealand Citizenship or Permanent Resident.
- Team Player.
- Strong communication skills and computer literacy.
- Calm mannered, high attention to detail and a professional attitude.
- Ability to work autonomously.
- Career focused professional.
- Able to work 8-10 hour shifts with a mix of day and night shifts.
- Able to work in a contact centre environment.
- Passion for help others, particularly the elderly.
- Able to hold or attain a First Aid Qualification, Criminal History Police clearance and attend a Pre-Employment Medical.
