About the Role

Due to growth in our business, we have an exciting and rare opportunity for an energetic and ambitious Customer Service & Sales Support Officer to join our team. Based in Melbourne, you will join a passionate and supportive team that has a wealth of experience and knowledge allowing you to build on your existing freight forwarding experience and develop your career.

In the day-to-day of your role, you will develop and maintain relationships with our clients, support our sales team and management and work closely with operations staff. You will provide end-to-end Customer Service, including quoting and coordination of shipments.

With your experience in freight forwarding, you will know this is a hands-on role where you often have to multitask in a busy environment. You will relish both the challenge and opportunity to go the extra mile and deliver an amazing customer experience for our clients. To be successful you will have:

  • Prior experience in freight forwarding including Customer Service, sales, or operations is desirable.
  • Prior experience in domestic/coastal logistics is desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills both over the phone and email.
  • Exhibit strong commercial acumen.
  • Enjoy problem solving through lateral thinking.
  • Show initiative and want to make an impact.
  • Be well organised and able to manage your time to meet deadlines.
  • Enjoy helping customers, with a drive to deliver world-class Customer Service.
  • Enjoying working as part of a team, and independently.
  • Have basic computer skills, with CargoWise experience (or similar).
