A fulltime opportunity exists for an adaptable team player to join our Customer Service team at our foodservice & liquor branch located in North Plympton.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Customer Service Supervisor, this position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service over the phone and to external customers in addition to performing other administrative tasks and reports. Training on our in-house systems will be provided. Shifts are 5 days per week covering 8am-9:15pm from Sunday to Friday.
Duties:
- Manage inbound and outbound calls with customers
- Process orders
- Generate sales and promote products and services on offer
- Resolve customer complaints and escalate when necessary
- Work co-operatively across a busy sales team environment
- General clerical duties and liaise with other departments
Skills and Experience:
- Confident phone manner and excellent communication skills
- Superior customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise and multi task
- Able to work as part of a team and autonomously
- Excellent computer literacy, including the ability to quickly learn internal systems
- Sales experience and an understanding of the foodservice industry or an allied industry would be an advantage
