About the Roles
All of our roles are focused on ensuring that our guests are having the most amazing experiences, and here at Merlin we have a real focus on FUN!!! Our team members are the friendly welcoming faces of Otway Fly, ensuring that all guests receive the best Customer Service from start to finish.
We currently have vacancies for Guest Services Hosts, Food and Beverage Attendants and Zipline Guides.

As a Guest Services Host, your duties include but are not limited to maximising all sales within the department outlets (tickets, retail and food & beverage), using up-selling and promotional tools provided; meeting daily tasks and sales targets set by management; and ensuring cleanliness of outlets and surrounding areas.
Within our fantastic Food and Beverage team you will be the person welcoming our guests before or after a thrilling zip line or exciting walk over the canopy of the rainforest. Through a memorable Customer Service experience, excellent time management skills and a strong mind for health and safety you will be a key player in the success within the department.
The Zipline guide provides guests the ultimate rainforest experience whilst visiting the Otway Fly, ensuring safe departures and arrivals. You will provide interesting interpretations of the natural environment and answers customer inquiries regarding the sport of zip lining as well as the natural surrounds.
Please note that all roles will be required to work some weekends and school holidays. Sunday and public holiday allowances apply.
About You
The ideal candidate for any of these roles will have a passion for guest experience and creating magical memories for our customers. They will be proactive in their approach to Customer Service with a positive attitude towards interaction with our guests and upselling techniques.
Barista experience and food handling experience in a similar role is a plus for the F&B attendant position. RSA experience is preferred as well.
Our Zipline Guides will have a current First Aid Certificate and a strong eye for Health and Safety, as well as an interest in local fauna, and the ability to perform safety checks and adhere to OHS procedures.
