Our client is seeking a Customer Service/Internal Sales Officer in a full-time, permanent role in the Welshpool area. Previous experience would be valued but not essential as training can be provided for the right person. If you love interacting with people and working as part of a team, this role is for you.
Our client is a large, well known national brand involved in producing, selling and distributing parts largely for the Construction Sector. This is a Monday to Friday role, working 38 hours per week.
The interesting and varied role will include:
- Managing incoming and outgoing inquiries from customer and prospects by email and phone
- Providing support to the sales executives regarding leads, orders etc
- Build excellent customer relationships and rapport – exceeding expectation in your customer service skills
- Help clients with basic product support and be able to solve problems for customers in a friendly manner
- Identify opportunities for sales leads and keep up to date with new products and developments
The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate:
- They are self-motivated and able to work well unsupervised
- They are positive, enthusiastic and friendly
- Excellent communications and interpersonal skills
- They can work under pressure at times and be able to meet deadlines, organising their workload to meet the needs of the client
- Strong attention to details, good phone and computing skills
- They are a true team player who gets on well with the team
The role will pay $65 – 80,000 plus super – depending on skills and relevant Customer Service experience (Hardware/fastener experience at the top of the pay scale). Training in systems and products will be provided to a person with a great attitude who is looking for a long-term Customer Service career. Parking is provided at the modern offices and facilities in Welshpool.
