The Role
The role of Communication Coordinator is a critical role for AMA. It holds a pivotal position to support all matters communication and general support while working with the industry stakeholders to support AMA’s Strategic Plan.
Your role also supports the wider business with communications, project management, general support duties, customer service, administration, and event management support. As it is a small team, you will be exposed to a wide variety of functions.
If you have a natural style, great at stakeholder engagement, love to work in small team environment and are particularly organised, this role will suit you. You will also have the opportunity to write some articles and media content.
Highly varied role, you will be responsible for:
- maintaining media relationships and content
- general office support including coordinating events and functions
- assisting the team write professional and relevant content across all mediums including online
- support to MD and wider business
- listening and working with stakeholders and responding to requests
- strong teamwork within a small but dedicated team
To be successful you will:
- have some experience writing and editing content
- solid coordination skills in an office environment
- history of working in small teams with diverse functions
- happy to talk to and engage with stakeholders
- have experience writing and managing social media content
- strong admin and coordination skill
- willingness to roll your sleeves up and pitch in
