Summary of role
The Student Services Officer forms a key part of the College and the Front Office Administration team in supporting the wellbeing of the students and operational effectiveness of Bishop Druitt College. The purpose of this role is to provide excellent student care and service, and to be the face of Bishop Druitt College for students, parents, teachers and visitors alike.
This role will commence as soon as possible, working Monday - Friday during the hours of 8.00am to 4:06pm (38hrs/week), and 42 weeks per year.
The remuneration offered will be in line with the Independent Schools NSW (Support and Operational Staff) Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2021 and its successors.
About you
Our Student Services team is an amazing group of smiling and genuinely helpful professionals who love their jobs. You will have qualifications in Business Administration or equivalent, and/or substantial working experience supporting a Business or Customer Service environment.
BDC highly desires candidates with excellent communication and customer service skills plus an ability to balance multiple priorities whilst remaining professional at all times.
You will have a current First Aid Certificate (or a willingness to complete it as a priority) and will be able to demonstrate strong computer literacy with MAC and PC applications. Most importantly you will have a well demonstrated can-do and team focussed mindset and be willing to jump in and help when required.
