About Us: Farm Owners Academy is a leading education and business coaching business supporting farming families across Australia and beyond. Founded in 2015, we help farming families develop the business skills to run a very successful farm business and lead fulfilling lives.

You will work closely with the Business Development Team of Farm Owners Academy, and you will be mentored. 

Responsibilities:

  • Proactive Calls: Initiate and maintain regular, meaningful contact with potential clients and existing members. Make an average of 10-15 high-quality calls per day, focusing on building relationships with our farming community and new members.
  • 6-Star Experience and Qualification: Deliver exceptional customer service, qualifying leads to ensure they meet the criteria for our programs.
  • Post Call Follow-Ups: Conduct timely follow-ups and check-ins after initial contact to maintain engagement and address any questions.
  • Member Support: Check in with existing short course members to track their progress and schedule additional coaching sessions as needed.
  • Information Gathering: Collect detailed information about the potential members business, including stakeholders, scale, enterprise type, and core challenges.
  • Opt-In Follow-Ups: Reach out to leads generated from webinars and lead magnets to convert interest into appointments.
  • Maintain Full Coaching Diaries: Ensure coaching schedules are consistently filled by managing and optimising appointment bookings.

About you:

  • You’re A Great Communicator and are comfortable speaking with farmers: You communicate confidently with farmers and possess basic knowledge of farming lifestyle, and agricultural enterprises. You can convey information clearly and effectively.
  • You’re a people person: You thrive on engaging with our members over the phone and find energy and satisfaction in these interactions. You are driven by providing an outstanding customer service experience.
  • You're proactive: You don’t wait. You take initiative where you see opportunity. You ask. You act. You look for ways to do more than expected and go the extra mile! You demonstrate strong self-discipline and a proactive approach to tasks.

Requirements:

  • Excellent telephone manner
  • An appreciation for farming and/ or living in a rural community
  • Proven experience in a similar role is a bonus
  • The ability to work as part of a remote but high-performing team
  • Computer literate with excellent proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite
  • A quiet home office space free from distractions
  • Strong, reliable internet connection
  • Own PC/Laptop and office equipment
  • Confidence in working online using platforms like Zoom, Slack and CRM. We will provide training in these systems as part of your induction if you are not familiar
