A full time 12-month maternity leave cover as a Customer & Stakeholder Manager based in Albany WA is available from early April 2024.
Reporting to the Regional Manager for Great Southern Region, you will play a vital part in managing internal and external stakeholders, customer communication, and engagement activities across the region in accordance with corporate processes and Water Corporation objectives.
You will be the face of our brand managing a portfolio of 56 key customers and stakeholders, including key local government customers and major water consumers in the Region. The foundation of a strong stakeholder relationship starts with our customers in the community advocating for us. You will continue upholding the positive and quality reputation of our organisation amongst our largest customers.
Love the idea of travelling for work? Prepare to travel frequently! You will be on the road every few weeks for 1-2 days. From Esperance to Walpole and everywhere in between. You won’t feel like you are working when you get to take in all the greatest parts of WA along the way. Your key stakeholders are spread across the vast Great Southern region and the most beneficial means of engagement will be face to face. For this role, you will require a valid driver’s license.

Let’s summarise the fundamentals of the role
· Provision and maintenance of a safe working environment in the region as defined in the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1984
· Identify key customers and stakeholders to manage and effectively lead relationship management with internal and external stakeholders
· Manage and support the 2 x Senior Adviser(s) Customer and Stakeholder (SACS)
· Participate as a member of the Regional Lead team to ensure the ongoing success of the region in meeting its performance obligations
· Engage, motivate, and inspire the regional communications team to deliver high performance in an achievement driven culture
· In alignment with other Regional Lead Team Managers, manages and leads the implementation of change in the Region
Ultimately, you will possess:
· Degree qualification in Communications, Business or other relevant discipline
· Substantial relevant experience in dealing with internal/external customers, stakeholders, and industry groups on complex matters.
· Demonstrated ability to liaise with and build relationships with customers, contractors, and stakeholders.
· Demonstrated leadership capacity to develop and maintain a management operation system and apply active management behaviours to ensure team performance.
· Ability to meet travel requirements of the role (regular region-wide and some state-wide travel).
