Casual Monday to Friday - 10 am to 2.00 pm (20 hours per week)

About the role 

As the Customer Support Specialist, you will be answering calls, taking and making bookings and assisting customers with their phone enquiries.

This is a ‘Work from Home’ role. You will need a suitable office space and a reliable internet connection. We will provide the laptop and headset.

You may reside anywhere between Margaret River and Geraldton that has great phone and internet service, however, there will be a requirement to travel to Perth for face-to-face meetings with the Corporate Team, estimated to be once or twice per month (and at a minimum, once every 6 months).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reservations using RMS
  • To greet guests over the phone in a friendly and courteous manner
  • To accurately take and record reservation information, process payments and deposits using Tokenisation and provide guests with confirmation correspondence
  • To answer, process and confirm reservations coming via the Summerstar website and email
  • To deal with emails and reservation messages in a timely and accurate manner 
  • To accurately take, record and process group booking information 
  • To provide support to our Parks and the Group Head Office Team as required

About You:

We are looking for …

  • A self-starter, who is also self-motivated, with the ability to work semi-autonomously
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Someone with the ability to follow directions and procedures
  • Strong organisational skills 
  • A can-do attitude, a problem solver with initiative who will make the lives of the rest of the team easier

Experience:

  • Extensive RMS or Newbook Experience. You will be a Reservations Expert.
  • Proven experience in a similar role (3+ years), and or in-Park experience.
  • Proficient with current technology, platforms, and programs such as Microsoft Office, OneDrive, and Teams, among others.

The following is desirable: 

  • Experience in the tourism and hospitality or hotels/accommodation industry
