As the Customer Testing Coordinator based in Brisbane and reporting to the Outage Management & Operational Customer Relations Team Leader, you will play a crucial role in guiding customers through the processes associated with the energisation, commissioning, and compliance testing in accordance with the National Electricity Rules and AEMO Operating Procedures.

Your expertise
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering; or an Advanced Diploma/ Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering coupled with relevant industry experience; or relevant qualification coupled with significant relevant industry experience.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and skill working within the operation of electrical power transmission or distribution systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate and influence outcomes utilising operational and technical knowledge.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of power system operations, able to describe power system behaviour, physical transmission elements and the characteristics of the individual elements.
  • Demonstrated ability to interpret technical and organisational information in order to make informed decisions and/or provide informed advice.
