The Cyber Security, Data and Digital Resilience Division is seeking a Cyber Project Manager to join our team.This position operates within the Cyber Defence Centre (CDC) with the main duties being the management, monitoring and delivery of multiple projects as part of a Program of work.Reporting to the Program Manager, this newly established role will support the implementation of the Victorian Government's two-year Cyber Enhancement Program. The Cyber Project Manager will be responsible for leading the project management activities for the Improving the adoption of basic cyber security controls at VPS organisations stream of the program.The successful candidate will be expected to deploy appropriate project management methodologies, foster relationships, and coordinate with a range of stakeholders not limited to vendors, managed service providers, commonwealth government partners, and state government entities.About youAs our ideal candidate, you will have:
- Demonstrated experience developing and delivering complex projects for government or enterprise.
- Proven ability to build strong and mutually beneficial relationships across government entities.
- Well-developed interpersonal, negotiation and leadership skills, with an ability to lead meetings, deliver feedback, and orient verbal conversations.
- Demonstrated experience in managing competing priorities and projects with a willingness to be flexible and adaptable.
- Sounded knowledge of cyber security practices, legislation, policies, and issues, and the ability to critically analyse complex problems related to technical subject matter.
- The successful candidate may be required to undergo a security clearance at an appropriate level as determined by DSG and will require the ability to successfully acquire and maintain a security clearance in Australia (requires Australian citizenship).
