A dynamic Federal Government Department is looking to engage Multiple experienced Senior Cyber Security Operations Analysts to support, build and protect cyber-resilient information technology platforms and support strategic objectives. The successful Senior Cyber Security Operations Analysts will secure an initial 12 month contract with the view to extend.
The successful Senior Cyber Security Operations Analysts will be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Monitoring, investigation and mitigating security incidents within security tools.
- Analysing security event data and identifying suspicious/malicious activity from networks and systems.
- Performing and managing phishing simulations.
- Researching new and evolving threats and vulnerabilities
The successful Senior Cyber Security Operations Analysts will have experience in the following:
- Demonstrated experience with log aggregation and SIEM
- Knowledge of the Information Security Manual (ISM) and Cyber Security concepts.
- Formal tertiary qualifications or industry certifications in a Cyber Security related field (e.g. Azure/AWS, Splunk Certified)
- Worked in a Security/Network Operations Center (or similar)
