My client is a managed services provider, who has been operational for over 15 years. They work with mid-market clients and due to increased demand are looking to add to their team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate IT-centric person who is an enthusiastic, proactive and professional Level 2 Support engineer.
Working as part of a close-knit team, you will be required to take ownership of leveL 2 issues and resolve them in a timely and professional manner.
Responsibilities include:
- Assisting clients with their IT needs at various locations.
- Investigate, diagnose, and resolve IT issues and cybersecurity alerts on client systems.
- Prioritise cybersecurity by following best practices.
- Secure client systems by implementing and maintaining cybersecurity solutions.
- Standardise and maintain network systems.
- Support Windows, Hyper-V, VMWare servers, backups, storage, and cloud infrastructure.
- Manage project tasks and meet deadlines.
- Collaborate with clients to discuss ongoing issues and solutions.
- Provide on-call support as needed.
- Utilise tools and procedures effectively.
- Troubleshoot issues, including root cause analysis.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external teams to resolve complex problems.
- Perform server maintenance, software upgrades, and patch installations with minimal downtime.
- Proactive problem solving and a keen eye for detail are essential.
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple issues simultaneously.
- Documenting knowledge articles and creating how-to guides/videos for internal use and to distribute to end-users.
Previous Experience:
- Experience with Microsoft 365 and Conditional access
- Experience with Microsoft Intune/Endpoint manager.
- Above basic understanding of Cybersecurity and Essential Eight Framework
- Troubleshooting experience with Windows OS – Workstation and OS
- Server Administration experience
- Experience with Intune MDM to manage iOS devices would be beneficial.
