About Your Opportunity

Reporting to our Principal Cyber Security Architect, you will provide specialised security design and delivery services to support change across Seqwater’s Operational OT and Corporate IT environments. This role will enhance Seqwater’s solutions delivery capability and ensure digital solutions are designed, integrated, and functioning safely and securely.

This role is responsible for:

• Influencing Cyber Security best practices through the secure design and implementation of technology solutions.
• Providing expert advice on Cyber Security activities during the plan and build phases of digital IT and OT solutions.
• Leading the technical implementation, configuration and deployment of cyber projects and BAU initiatives as part of the overall Cyber Security program.
• Managing the development of technical Cyber Security design artifacts (e.g., patterns, operating procedures, policies and standards) to promote the secure design and delivery of digital solutions.
• Influencing cybersecurity better practices, engaging operational and design teams (IT and OT.
• Consulting with Solution Architects and OT Designers to ensure IT and OT solutions meet Seqwater cybersecurity standards and policies.
• Actively driving cyber assurance activities, ensuring that internal and external architectures and operations meet Seqwater’s Cyber Security standards and expectations.

About you

To be successful in this role, you will possess:  

• A Bachelor’s degree in a technology related discipline (e.g., Computer Science, System Engineering, Cyber Security).
• Previous experience working within the Critical Infrastructure sector and related knowledge of IT/OT opportunities and constraints.
• Relevant architectural qualifications (e.g. SABSA, TOGAF, Zachman, DoDAF).
• Experience in a cybersecurity discipline and technology experience in either an architectural, design, consulting or System integrator role.
• Experience applying common Cyber Security IT & OT Cyber Security frameworks and methodologies (e.g. Essential 8, 27001, NIST, IEC:62443, etc.).
• A relevant cybersecurity qualification or working towards obtaining one (e.g., CISSP, CISM, etc).

This position has a salary range of $113,473.64 – 123,475.70 (dependent on experience) plus 12.75% superannuation.
