Your new role
As an expert, you will guide and coach a compact team comprised of administrative and project management experts to facilitate the oversight of cybersecurity operations. You'll also be:
- Spearheading and executing a variety of projects and work programs.
- Crafting, deploying, and overseeing projects and programs aimed at bolstering cybersecurity resilience.
- Managing financial duties for the section, including budget tracking, reporting, and oversight.
- Establishing IT security protocols, policies, procedures, and safeguards to mitigate risks.
- Enhancing NDIA's security stance via procedural enhancements, policy development, automation, and ongoing capability advancement.
- Offering expert guidance on cybersecurity matters during the Agency's procurement processes.
- Undertaking additional tasks as needed, in line with evolving business demands.
What you'll need to succeed
Prior experience in working with public sector clients
- Established leadership skills in managing a diverse workforce.
- In-depth understanding of pivotal security policies/ frameworks, particularly Essential 8.
- Demonstrated capability in interfacing with both technical and non-technical stakeholders within the realm of Cyber GRC engagements.
- Skilled at overseeing operational finances within a public sector setting.
- Above all, you'll need to have diverse experience and a positive attitude!
