Job Description
Cyber Security Advice specialists provide ICT Security Advice and assistance to the agency. Cyber Security Advisers deliver management, technical, governance, planning and management of Security Advice to implement security controls and security management strategies and also support the broader cyber capability for the agency.
Senior Cyber Security Advisors oversee:
- Security risk assessments and use of security controls across the agency.
- The development and implementation of Cyber Security policies and procedures.
- Promote Cyber Security standards and guidelines to increase stakeholder capability and agency compliance with security requirements, to safeguard against security threats.
- Undertake capacity and resource planning and management of Cyber Security Division advice.
Senior Cyber Security Advisers:
- Inspire flexible, quality modern customer service.
- Operate with a high level of autonomy and work under the broad guidance of senior staff
- Make ethical, evidence based decisions using sound judgement
- Develop and manage strategic relationships with stakeholders. Identify and drive innovation, manage and lead change and have an active role in contributing to and implementing the agency's strategic direction.
Work Environment
The successful candidate may be required to support after hours scheduled work and participate in an on-call roster.
