12-month contract role – federal government agency – Cyber Security Engineer

Your new company 

This government agency is looking for a Cyber Security Engineer to join their Cyber Security Operations team in an initial 12-month contract role with room for extension. You will have the opportunity of working at a federal government agency located in Sydney CBD.  

Your new role 

As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, implementing, and operating Cyber Security Operations, including threat management and response, vulnerability management, and IAM. Your role involves understanding security requirements and identifying how Cyber Security technologies can be designed to enable secure and compliant solutions.

What you'll need to succeed 

• Hands-on experience designing, implementing, and managing Cyber Security solutions. 
• Previous experience working in Security Operations; Additionally, hands-on experience in SIEM, firewall, vulnerability management and IAM.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a baseline security clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a higher clearance if required.
• You must be an Australian Citizen to be eligible.
