Purpose
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of post-university experience in Cyber Security, with a strong understanding of the Information Security Manual (ISM) and the ability to coordinate with product engineers to ensure the implementation of technical security controls within multiple products.
Main Tasks
- Work within an existing team of global engineers and Cyber Governance Risk and Compliance to assist in the development, implementation, and sustainment of product security and resiliency throughout all stages of the product lifecycle.
- Work collaboratively with the engineering teams to develop Cyber Security designs that implement Information Security Manual controls (ISM) and other industry standard cyber controls within the systems and products, across multiple programs.
- Perform threat and risk assessments as part of a cyber-maturation process that establishes threat surfaces and mitigations to maximise resiliency and minimise vulnerability.
- Assist the Frequentis Cyber Security GRC officer with security document development (SSP Annex, SIMP, SRMP, SOD).
- Customer Engagement: Participate in customer security working groups as required.
- Travel to client sites within Australia and to the Frequentis Head Office in Vienna for training is a possibility.
Experience and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience: 2-3 years of relevant experience in Cyber Security.
- An understanding of the security and industry standards (e.g. ISM, PSPF, DSPF, NIST, NIS2)
Qualifications
- A University qualification to the level of an Australian Bachelor Degree or equivalent qualification in Engineering, Software, Information Technology or related discipline.
