The Role
Legal Services is seeking a dynamic and skilled Cyber Security Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) Officer to join our team. Legal Services is committed to maintaining the highest standards of security and compliance, and we invite a talented professional to contribute to our ongoing success.
As the Cyber Security GRC Officer, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing robust frameworks, policies, and procedures. Your responsibilities will include ensuring alignment with Federal and State Government compliance frameworks and industry best practices. This role involves identifying potential threats, vulnerabilities, and risks, along with implementing proactive measures to mitigate them effectively.

Total Indicative Remuneration Package
$108,783 - $115,004 per annum including salary, superannuation and leave loading with access up to $15,900 pre-tax Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) savings.
As a not-for-profit organisation, the Legal Services Commission is able to offer its employees attractive salary sacrifice arrangements, including up to $15,900 pre-tax each Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) year for general living expenses.

What You Need For Success
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
- Experience in implementing Cyber Security frameworks and models (e.g., SACSF, Essential 8, NIST, ISO27001) into an organisation, aligning with business objectives.
- Experience in the development and management of cyber policies and procedures.
- Experience in the identification, management and reporting of cyber risk.
- Demonstrated experience engaging with leadership and management of organisations to enable continuous improvement in Cyber Security.
- Contemporary knowledge of Cyber Security risk management and mitigation principles, standards and tools for identifying and mitigating security threats within an organisation, along with detailed knowledge of related government policies and procedures.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the practical application of communication and engagement techniques to ensure end users understand required behaviours for reducing Cyber Security risk.
