ABOUT THE ROLE
- Implementing and maintaining cybersecurity measures to protect government systems and data.
- Conducting risk assessments and identifying vulnerabilities.
- Developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
- Monitoring for security breaches and responding promptly to incidents.
- Collaborating with government stakeholders to ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulations.
- Providing expertise and guidance on cybersecurity best practices.
ABOUT YOU
- Proven experience in cybersecurity roles, with a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
- Familiarity with relevant cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, ASD Essential Eight).
- Experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint security solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+.
- A proactive and analytical mindset, with a commitment to staying updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.
