Cyber Security Specialists (Eoi)

Halcyon Knights is currently seeking expressions of interest from talented Cyber Security professionals for upcoming contract roles within the South Australian government.

ABOUT THE ROLE

• Implementing and maintaining cybersecurity measures to protect government systems and data.
• Conducting risk assessments and identifying vulnerabilities.
• Developing and implementing security policies and procedures.
• Monitoring for security breaches and responding promptly to incidents.
• Collaborating with government stakeholders to ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and regulations.
• Providing expertise and guidance on cybersecurity best practices.

ABOUT YOU

• Proven experience in cybersecurity roles, with a strong understanding of cybersecurity principles and practices.
• Familiarity with relevant cybersecurity frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST, ASD Essential Eight).
• Experience with cybersecurity tools and technologies, such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and endpoint security solutions.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Relevant certifications, such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+.
• A proactive and analytical mindset, with a commitment to staying updated on the latest cybersecurity threats and trends.
