Position Objective: The primary objective of this position is to focus on Identity and Access Management (IAM) across global operations. This role is pivotal in ensuring the security and integrity of Santos’ digital assets by managing user access and privileges effectively.
Essential experience required for this position includes:
- 5+ years’ experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) within the field of Cyber Security.
- Experience demonstrating IAM principles, protocols, standards, and best practices, such as LDAP, SAML, OAuth, RBAC, and experience with IAM platforms and tools such as Microsoft Azure Active Directory, AWS IAM, NetIQ, Okta, Unix LDAP or similar solutions. This should include experience integrating IAM solutions with existing systems, applications, and directories.
- Experience automating IAM processes to improve efficiency and experience providing incident response support for IAM-related security incidents, such as account compromises, unauthorized access attempts, and identity theft.
- Experience conducting access control reviews and audits to identify unauthorized access, excessive privileges, and other security risks.
- Experience implementing and managing PAM solutions to secure and monitor privileged accounts and access rights.
- Experience configuring and maintaining SSO and MFA solutions to enhance security posture and streamline user authentication processes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Desired experience for this position includes:
- Experience in Cyber Security operations, including threat detection, incident response, and security monitoring, to provide a broader understanding of the overall Cyber Security landscape and enhance incident response capabilities related to IAM.
- Experience in risk management methodologies and practices, particularly as they relate to identity and access risks, to assess and mitigate potential threats to the organization’s digital assets effectively.
- Knowledge of relevant regulatory requirements and compliance frameworks, such as AESCSF, as well as experience in aligning IAM practices with regulatory standards to ensure compliance and minimize legal and financial risks.
- Experience in cloud security principles and practices, particularly as they relate to IAM in cloud environments (e.g., AWS IAM, Azure AD), to ensure secure access and identity management in cloud-based infrastructures.
- Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) and automation tools to automate IAM processes, streamline workflows, and improve operational efficiency.
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Security, Cyber Security, or related field.
- Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, or vendor-specific IAM certifications.
