Job Description
Cyber Security Services for Lotterywest is managed and led through the Technical Services business unit within the Strategy and Enablement Team.
This role, reporting to the Chief Information Security Officer, will work effectively with the Lotterywest Security team and all areas of Lotterywest, to undertake analysis, reporting, and investigating solutions with stakeholders to identify improvements on how Technology Services can ensure compliance with respective security controls.
Working closely with the CISO, the Technology Services Team and appropriate business area representatives,the role will identify gaps within Technology Services practices to provide improvements in our security controls assurance practices through process review and assessing industry best practices and has the following key areas of focus:

• System Security – assesses the management, operational, and technical security controls, and control enhancements within Lotterywest information technology systems
• Organisational Strategy – contributes to the overall development of Technology Services practices and business strategy
• Compliance – maintains compliance with information security frameworks for proposed or in production systems
• Project Management – works closely with the Manager IT Security, CIO and the Manager Service Delivery to develop the Cloud Strategy framework and reviews processes in the Technology Services project management cycle
• Stakeholder Management – works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to meet security requirements

Mandatory / special role requirements

• Police Clearance
• Security certification i.e. CISM, CISSP

Essential Selection Criteria * Demonstrated experience and knowledge of Cyber Security principles and application

• Demonstrated experience in Government Cyber Security frameworks and structure
• Excellent Information Security Management experience with policy and strategy development skill to support Audit and Compliance regulatory requirements
• Demonstrated experience in IT Security applications and management
• Demonstrated experience implementing business cases, risk assessments and policy implementation
