Cyber Security Specialist

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement and maintain comprehensive security protocols for Azure, AWS and CASB environments
• Monitor logs, configure alerts as well as promptly respond to identified threats or vulnerabilities
• Develop playbooks for Cyber Security events via Sentinel
• Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify and address potential risks and weaknesses in systems
• Oversee the daily operations of the vulnerability management process
• Provide guidance and support to team members regarding security-related issues and concerns
• Develop documentation, measure compliance, and close gaps to meet Defence Industry Security Program (DISP) requirements
• Assist in general IT management where required

Your Qualifications and Skills:

• In-depth knowledge of Azure, AWS, Clouse Assess Security Broker (CASB) solutions and familiarity with the DISP or similar program is essential
• Experience in developing playbooks via Sentinel
• Bachelor's degree in Comp Sci, IT or a related field
• Minimum 3 years in cyber or cloud security
• Strong understanding of cloud security best practices and governance requirements

Highly Desirable:

• CISSP, CCSP or related certifications
• Masters level degree in Comp Sci, IT or related field
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with various teams and stakeholders
