Cyber Technical Analyst
As a Cyber Technical Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the security posture within the organisation. Your key roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Writing and presenting security documentation.
- Providing Technical and non-technical advice to departmental programs in relation to security architecture best practices.
- Reviewing and providing guidance on application and system integration designs in relation to PSPF, ISM, and the Essential Eight.
- Increasing awareness of security issues among Technical and non-technical departmental staff.
- Implementing the Essential Eight in other Government agencies, including technical enhancements and providing guidance to a variety of stakeholders.
- Troubleshooting and resolve complex technical issues.
- Articulating, documenting, and presenting security artefacts.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Expertise in reviewing and providing guidance on application and system integration designs in relation to PSPF, ISM, and the Essential Eight.
- Experience in implementing the Essential Eight within the public sector.
- Proficiency with Azure cloud infrastructure and services, including conducting technical assessments within this environment.
Cyber Security Analyst
As a Cyber Analyst,you will play a pivotal role in bolstering the security posture within the organisation. Your key roles and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Conducting security risk assessments across Azure Cloud, legacy ICT systems, and applications within a Governance, Risk, and Compliance framework.
- Reviewing and advising on application and system integration with respect to PSPF, ISM, and the Essential Eight.
- Engaging with both non-Technical and technical stakeholders concerning cybersecurity issues, system risk, and recommendations.
- Presenting risk assessments and findings.
- Aiding in the identification of opportunities to enhance the security posture of the department’s environment.
The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience in conducting security risk assessments across Azure Cloud, legacy ICT systems, and applications within a Governance, Risk, and Compliance framework.
- Experience in implementing the Essential Eight within the public sector.
- Proficiency with Azure cloud infrastructure and services, including technical assessments in this setting.
