Position: Dairy Cattle Farmer (ANZSCO 121313)

Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 per year (Fulltime)

Location: Unit 20, 3 Apollo Street Warriewood, NSW, 2102

Cooper Tree Farms was found under the vision of creating good food for every Aussie. Our farm facility is locating in New South Wales and looking for an enthusiasm and energetic team member for the position. The successful candidate should perform:

Duties and Responsibilities:

·         Plans, organises, controls, coordinates and performs farming operations to breed and raise Dairy Cattle for milk, meat and breeding stock

·         Breeds and raises livestock for the production of milk

·         Maintains the health and condition of livestock

·         Provides pastures and fodder to maintain appropriate nutritional levels

·         Moves livestock to optimise feeding opportunities

·         Conducts farming operations such as milking and drenching livestock, sterilising machines, and collecting, grading and packaging produce

·         Oversees general farming activities such as maintaining pens, sheds and cages, fertilising, controlling pests and weeds, and growing fodder

·         Maintains fences, equipment and water supply systems

·         Organises the sale, purchase and transportation of livestock and produce

·         Evaluates records of farming activities, monitoring market activity and planning production

·         Manages business capital including budgeting, taxation, debt and loan management

·         May select, train and supervise staff and contractors.

Qualification and Experience:

·         Related Qualification

·         At least 2 years of work experience in a similar position

·         Well- trained Farm management skills

·         Good Communication skills

·         Can work in a team or individually
