About the role
Due to expansion and growth Nexus Airlines is seeking highly skilled Dash 8 – Q400 Captainsto join our team. With 3 positions based in Geraldton.
Key Duties and responsibilities of the role include
In addition to flying duties, pilots are expected to assist with the following duties:
- Assisting the operations team as required
- Supporting other pilots with pre- and post-flight duties
To be successful in this role
In addition to meeting the minimum experience qualifications, you will need to demonstrate that you have enthusiasm, energy, a high level of personal presentation, and have excellent people and communication skills. You will also have a positive attitude with the ability to be solution focused in challenging situations. The minimum experience and qualifications are as follows:
- ICAO Air Transport Pilot Licence (A)
- English language proficiency – Level 6
- ICAO class 1 aviation medical
- 3000 hours total flying
- 2500 hours pilot in command
- 500 hours multi engine command
- 100 hours in command DHC8 or similar (Desirable)
