The role
Reporting to the Principal Data Analyst. Your role will creating, manipulating and visualising complex datasets to deliver analytical insights supporting the Director, Office of the Deputy Director-General, the Deputy Director-General and Corporate Services Division leadership team in achieving their objectives.
The successful person
You will have demonstrated:
- Demonstrated numeracy, analytical and conceptual skills including demonstrated ability to quickly assimilate new concepts and information. and deliver positive, innovative solutions.
- Proficient data programming skills (e.g., R, Python), with a proven ability to collect, cleanse, merge, and analyse complex data.
- Demonstrated experience in the effective use of analytical tools and in using data to support business decisions, including demonstrated experience in Microsoft applications (e.g., Advanced MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, PowerBI) and the ability to create text templates, charts, pivot tables and presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to prepare professional reports, the ability to provide advice and effectively prepare and present information and effectively communicate information in a clear and succinct manner.
- Demonstrated time management skills
