Job title- Associate, Infrastructure Program Performance
Contract: 6 months (high possibility of extension)
Location: Work from home and Sydney office (hybrid working)
Rate: $58- $64/hr + Super.
Primary purpose of the role
The Associate, Infrastructure Program Performance is responsible for supporting the analysis of data from varied sources, and the development of reports and data visualisations to identify patterns and trends of the State’s infrastructure portfolio of capital projects to inform decision making.
Key accountabilities
Provide input and support for the preparation of accurate regular and ad-hoc reports, including to senior executive infrastructure committees and Cabinet, to facilitate sound decision making.
Source, collate and compile data and information to identify emerging issues or inconsistencies, track, and report on project progress against established milestones and deliverables.
Use a range of metrics to assist with monitoring and evaluation of the performance of the State’s infrastructure portfolio of capital projects to inform decision making.
Support the development of reports and data visualisations to identify patterns and trends and input into cabinet and strategic reports.
Make recommendations to improve efficiency of the monitoring and reporting on projects and programs.
Perform Secretariat functions for various related committees which support the Infrastructure Investor Assurance Framework.
Coordinate, update and manage documentation and records, complying with the Infrastructure Investor Assurance Framework, to ensure all information is accurate, stored correctly and is accessible.
Key challenges
Delivering quality support, analysis, reporting and administrative services, given competing priorities from multiple stakeholders.
Ability to maintain data integrity, identify gaps and shortfalls and apply strategic thinking, within a high work volume environment.
Providing clear analytical information using multiple sources of data within tight timeframes.
Essential requirements
• Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience is a must.• Advanced skills in using Microsoft suite of products to analyse and manipulate data and produce visual presentations.• Strong interest or some experience in the planning, development, procurement and/or delivery of infrastructure projects across any asset class.• Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues and develop solutions.• Sound report writing and visual presentation design abilities.• Experience with Salesforce or a similar product is preferred
Must have Australian citizenship or Permanent Resident and should be residing in NSW.
