Role Overview:
As a Technician Assistant, you'll play a vital role in supporting the technical operations within our Data Center. Your primary focus will be on assisting with hardware maintenance and parts upgrade tasks to ensure the seamless functioning of our customer's technological infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with technicians to assist in hardware upgrades, replacements, and non-complex tasks or procedures
- Maintain meticulous documentation of maintenance activities and contribute to the creation of comprehensive reports
- Ensure compliance with security protocols and uphold quality assurance standards within the Data Center environment
- Work closely with the Data Center logistics team to guarantee the availability of parts and optimise process efficiency
- Engage in various operational tasks to maintain the organization's standards within the Data Center
Ideal Candidate Profile:
- Recent IT graduate or individual with a relevant educational background, particularly in Data Center technologies
- Proficiency in IT and computer skills, with exposure to Data Center environments being advantageous
- Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English
- Australian citizenship is required for security clearance purposes
