Multisystem Communications is an established Data Communications cabling provider in the ACT and surrounds. Typical projects include new schools, government department fitouts, and defence sector work.
Experienced technicians should have a minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role, and hold a current ACMA license with a Cert 3 in Telecommunications. Roles and responsibilities will include interpreting floor layout plans, managing ITP’s and performing quality checks, installing structured copper and fiber, termination of Category 6, 6A UTP/STP/FTP cable and fusion-splicing of Optical Fiber cable, as well as experience with the testing and commissioning of structured data networks using a Fluke Networks tester.
Existing security clearances are also desirable.
Non-experienced candidates are required to have as a minimum, a driver’s license as well as reliable transport to work each day, an industry white card enabling access to construction sites in ACT/NSW, an industry asbestos awareness and working safely with asbestos containing materials certificates, and a silica awareness certificate.
