A dynamic Federal Government Department is looking to engage an experienced Data Engineer to be apart of the department’s internal key data centric projects. You will be responsible demonstrating strong Data Engineering and analytics skills with the ability to communicate findings using plain language. The successful Data Engineer will secure an initial 12 month contract with the view to extend for a further 12 months.
The successful Data Engineerwill be responsible for, but not limited to:
- Building and Documenting ETL pipelines and Data Lineage
- Ingest Data to an analytics platform, including cleansing, aggregating, and modelling data
- Identifying opportunities to improve data, capture, linkage, transformation, and flow.
The successful Data Engineer will have experience in the following:
- 5 + years Data Engineering
- Extensive ETL, Power BI theoretical and practical experience
- Data Modeling and Data Warehouse
