Our Client, a large Federal Government Agency is seeking to engage Data Engineer Modeller DI. Locations, including but not limited to ACT, NSW, VIC, TAS, NT and SA, with work from home flexibility and flexible working hours negotiable.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, implementation and maintenance of robust data pipelines to transform and enhance data.
- Collaborate with data scientists and data governance specialists to develop formalised pathways from RD to production.
- Facilitate the creation of data products by integrating data from internal and external sources.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of the data and analytics function, including the development and tracking of key indicators, creation of shared libraries, frameworks and automation.
Experience Required:
- Demonstrated ability to design, implement and maintain pipelines for data transformation
- Demonstrated experience building data models
- High level of proficiency with multiple languages, including Python
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices for the full software development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing and operations
