What you'll be doing
We are seeking a highly skilled Storage and Backup Engineer with the ability to work in a demanding environment with an enthusiastic sense of customer support, you will need to communicate and coordinate with clients as well as other technology groups in a complex and highly governed environment.
The role will involve:
Delivery of technical support for the client/server environment in relation to Storage and backups
Maintaining backups, restores both on perm and cloud
Advises on Storage and backup infrastructure configuration and environment leading practices
Patch and upgrade Storage and backup systems in line with policy to ensure a secure and stable environment.
Liaise with service providers to investigate and resolve issues and provide root cause analysis of supported systems
Assist in creating and maintaining a knowledgebase of documentation such as as-builts\SOP\Wi for supported systems
Ensure timely resolution of incidents against SLA.

• Australian Citizen with NV1 Security Clearance
What will make you successful in this role?
- 5 years plus experience in Storage and Backup in enterprise environments
- Experience with enterprise storage such as NetApp.
- Experience with Data protection technologies such as Veeam, Commvault
- Experience in backup of Cloud systems
- Highly Relevant certifications - Commvault, Veeam, NetApp
