Data Engineer - Sql, Data Modelling

Data Engineer required to enable efficient access to transparent, reliable and scalable data within a leading retail business. 

Responsibilities:

• assessing the current data landscape across the data warehouse and numerous source systems and making recommendations on how data should be structured
• engaging with the Data Engineering team to provide architectural and modelling solutions
• designing and implementing logical and physical data models which align to data strategy

Requirements:

• strong data and dimensional modelling background working on an enterprise scale
• extensive data mapping skills
• excellent experience with SQL and stored procedures 
• previous experience working with Lakehouse architecture
