SalaryThe CompanyRobert Half Technology is supporting a not-for-profit organisation to secure an experienced Business Analyst for supporting a business-critical Data Governance project.The RoleAs a Data Governance Business Analyst, you will be a key member of the high performing project group, responsible for implementing and embedding the client's data management framework on existing data sets as part of a major cybersecurity uplift program. You will work closely with key stakeholders, including IT, Risk, Legal, and others, to establish and ensure adherence to all Data Governance and protection policies, standards, and procedures.Key responsibilitiesConduct data risk and privacy impact assessments to provide advice on data protection to key stakeholders.Develop a policy to be adhered to for all data information acquired throughout the project.Support Data Governance projects by contributing to analysis and change management activities.Actively involve key stakeholders in decision-making processes and ensure that feedback is obtained and incorporated as appropriate.Set and manage expectations with stakeholders regarding timelines, deliverables, and outcomes.Research and fully understand legislative and regulatory requirements for data retention.Provide practical recommendations based on gaps within policy to the business and key stakeholders.Your ProfileDemonstrated experience working in large organisations with complex data stacks across multiple entities.Experience working on business and technology projects.Experience in identifying and assessing risks to apply appropriate control and monitoring measures.Certifications in data management or privacy such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP), Certified Data Governance Professional (CDGP), Certified Information Privacy Management (CIPM), or similar.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Display confidence when communicating with stakeholders at all levels.Have experience with highly sensitive data with different company and country regulatory requirements.Be capable of conveying technical matters to non-technical users and stakeholders.Exhibit the ability to work collaboratively and effectively with remote teams. * Have the capacity to establish and nurture strong communication channels and relationships.Apply TodayLearn more about our Brisbane recruitment services: https://www.roberthalf.com.au/brisbaneBy clicking 'apply', you give your express consent that Robert Half may use your personal information to process your job application and to contact you from time to time for future employment opportunities.
