About Us: The Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine (VIFM) is an independent statutory authority governed by the Victorian Institute of Forensic Medicine Act 1985 (the VIFM Act).

It is part of the Justice portfolio of the Victorian Government. The VIFM Act creates a joint position of Director of the VIFM and Professor of the Department of Forensic Medicine (DFM) at Monash University. The Director/Professor is responsible for the strategic direction and activities of the DFM, which is housed at the VIFM and operates under the governance of the Monash University Faculty of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences.

About the Role: VIFM is looking for a Database Migration Engineer to plan and execute the Data Migration activities for an exciting Digital Transformation project. The role includes moving the data and converting content as necessary, while considering risks and potential. The successful candidate will have an extensive background in migrating data from Oracle or SQL databases to Microsoft Dynamics Customer Service (365 Dataverse) through automated tools.
