The Department employsapproximately 2,000 staff and has responsibility for nine prisonsand fifteen Community Correctional offices across the state. Duties
The iSAFE Data MigrationSpecialist is responsible for providing expert advice thatcontributes to the successful delivery of data analysis, datamining, database development and management in support of DataTransition/Migration, Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence (Bl)optimum project outcomes within the iSafe IT program ofwork.
Reporting to the ICTDelivery Manager, the iSAFE Data Migration Specialist works withinthe IT and Data team supporting Database development, DataManagement, Data Transition/Migration, Data Warehouse and Bl tasksand activities. These may include the development of data relatedactivities supporting data governance, data management andanalysis, maintaining data baselines, problem solving and managingresolutions relating to data gaps and deliverables relating to theiSAFE system design and configuration, integration, data warehouseand business analytics.
SpecialConditions
- Section 47 of the Public Sector Act 2009 applies in conjunction with other provisions of the Act and other applicable industrial entitlements.
- The incumbent is required to satisfactorily complete a National Criminal History Check.
- A current South Australian Driver’s Licence is essential.
- A flexible approach to working hours is required.
- Some interstate and intrastate travel will be required which may necessitate overnight absences.
