The Department employs approximately 2,000 staff and has responsibility for nine prisons and fifteen Community Correctional offices across the state. Duties
The iSAFE Data Migration Specialist is responsible for providing expert advice that contributes to the successful delivery of data analysis, data mining, database development and management in support of Data Transition/Migration, Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence (Bl) optimum project outcomes within the iSafe IT program of work.
Reporting to the ICT Delivery Manager, the iSAFE Data Migration Specialist works within the IT and Data team supporting Database development, Data Management, Data Transition/Migration, Data Warehouse and Bl tasks and activities. These may include the development of data related activities supporting data governance, data management and analysis, maintaining data baselines, problem solving and managing resolutions relating to data gaps and deliverables relating to the iSAFE system design and configuration, integration, data warehouse and business analytics.
Special Conditions

• Section 47 of the Public Sector Act 2009 applies in conjunction with other provisions of the Act and other applicable industrial entitlements.
• The incumbent is required to satisfactorily complete a National Criminal History Check.
• A current South Australian Driver’s Licence is essential.
• A flexible approach to working hours is required.
• Some interstate and intrastate travel will be required which may necessitate overnight absences.
