We are looking for an experienced Data Migration Specialist to join our growing Information Technology Team based at our Head Office in Port Adelaide.

Role Overview

The Data Migration Specialist is responsible for being a subject matter expert in our HR Information System and Workforce Management Implementation Project, contributing to requirements determination, design, implementation and embedding. This role will ensure the accuracy and efficiency of workforce data and systems to support decision-making and operational processes. The Data Migration Specialist will collaborate with HR, Operations, and IT departments to manage and optimise workforce data, reporting, and systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build customised reports and dashboards to support the business in making key people decisions and inform workforce planning decisions;
  • Provide recommendations and improvement opportunities to the HR team / business to improve the capture of data and ability to maintain data integrity;
  • Conduct system testing and upgrades in collaboration with IT, undertaking system auditing for proposed changes;
  • Investigate and deliver root cause analysis of data and permission issues for HR modules;
  • Lead and / or contribute to the scoping, sourcing and implementation of HRIS solutions and Workforce Management for the Group; and
  • Ensure that standard operating procedures, templates and maps exist for processes and systems.

About you

Your skills and experience will include;

  • Proven experience in data analysis, HRIS administration, or a similar role;
  • Advanced knowledge of HR or Workforce Management IT system modules;
  • Demonstrated experience developing, implementing and upgrading enterprise systems;
  • Advanced ability to navigate complex organisational structures;
  • Strong data cleansing skills;
  • Advanced project management and planning skills;
  • Demonstrated experience in developing regular and adhoc reporting and dashboards; and
  • Demonstrated experience working in an IT implementation project team.
