Data Migration Specialist

• Baseline Clearance Required
• Gungahlin ACT, WFH 2/3 days a week

Our Federal Government Client is searching for a highly motivatedData Migration Specialist to join the Data team within the Business Solutions and Technology group. This role will provide comprehensive support in delivering a wide range of data related projects. It will also involve providing hands-on technical development for migration project(s) and ensuring both business requirements and expectations are met successfully.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

• Provide development expertise for end-to-end Data Migration projects (e.g. Microsoft Dynamics 365, Salesforce, etc.).
• Develop and maintain ETL and verification scripts (Oracle PL/SQL).
• Create and maintain SSIS and SQL Server Data Tools (SSDT) packages to load data from various sources to target systems.
• Create and maintain source to target mapping and implementation documents to support the ETL processes needed to refresh the target database or data mart via multiple sources.
• Effective management of migration scope(s) navigating any changes to ensure successful project delivery.
• Reverse engineering existing source databases (structure and code) to understand data architecture and conduct detailed source data analysis.

The key attributes we are searching for include:

• Min. of 5 years' experience in developing and implementing ETL solutions using Oracle, Microsoft SQL, and any other Relational Database.
• Management System (RDBMS) databases.
• Experience in the successful delivery of Data Migrations projects using Structured query language (SQL) Server Integration Services (SSIS), including a strong domain knowledge in data analysis, cleansing, deduping, mapping and integration tools.
• Exceptional SQL Scripting, data management and data analysis skills including the use of SSIS integration tools. Strong understanding of Oracle
• PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, views, triggers and functions to support the ETL (Extract, Transform and Load) process.
