• Work 2 to 5 days a week (Monday to Friday), depending on what suits your study needs
• Appointment will be for the duration of your undergraduate studies.
• $33.51 per hour + super (up to 12%)

(increasing to $34.68 per hour effective 1 July 2024)
Qld Local Government Industry Award (Stream A) - Level 1 of EBA5 * Location: StrathpineAbout our opportunityWe are seeking a friendly, reliable and motivated University Student to work in our own People and Culture department!This opportunity will see you working alongside professionals in the Leadership and Capability Development team, as you gain some great knowledge in the area of your studies as you assist the team.This team is responsible for developing and delivering HR strategies and initiatives to create our future fit workforce. This includes developing frameworks, delivering training, and driving programs that build a diverse mix of capable and high-performing people ready and able deliver the best results for our customers and community at City of Moreton Bay.You will support the team as we continue to evolve and deliver quality programs to the greater organisation, with some of our upcoming projects being to:

• prepare fit for purpose Leader Reference Guides;
• review our Corporate Induction and overall Onboarding process for new team members;
• roll out reinvigorated leadership development programs;and
• deliver mandatory training content that engages and effectively embeds key messages with a diverse audience.

Your enthusiasm and drive will be paired with exceptional interpersonal skills as we strive to provide a great experience for all of our stakeholders we interact with. We are also seeking someone with strong written communication skills to be confident in supporting the team through succinct, fit for purpose content writing.You will be currently enrolled in relevant university studies ideally with a Business focus, and you will pair this with a genuine interest to learn more about the Learning and Development field.
